Digital Kit Program for digitalization of SMEs and freelancers
The European Union has allocated some economic funds to reactivate the economy and employment in Europe due to the economic crisis caused by COVID-19. They are known as “ Next Generation EU ” funds.
Spain will receive 140 billion euros, which will be distributed through the ” Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan ” that will be reflected in 4 lines of action:

Within the ” digital transformation ” line, the Digital Kit program has been launched, endowed with 3,000 million euros, which will allow SMEs and the self-employed to adopt and implement a series of digital tools and solutions, thus constituting a unique opportunity to transform their business.

Who can apply for aid from European funds for the digitization of SMEs?
The program establishes three segments of beneficiaries, depending on the size of their company, who will receive financial aid in the form of a digital voucher :

- Segment I : companies with between 10 and 49 employees will be able to receive a digital bonus of €12,000 .

- Segment II : companies with between 3 and 9 employees will be able to receive a digital bonus of €6,000 .
-
- Segment III : companies with 1 and 2 employees and freelancers may receive a digital bonus of €2,000 .
How to start the process to request the digital bonus?
To start the process, you will have to follow the following steps:
- manage your registration in the AceleraPyme portal
- provide information that demonstrates that you meet the necessary requirements
- once you get the digital voucher, you will have to choose the service or tool that best suits the current needs of your business
- select the digitizing agent who will perform the implementation
You will only have to pay VAT of the amount of each implemented solution and you will also receive support and maintenance for 12 months of the services you have chosen.
